The inspiration for the Type HG comes from the historical analogy of the little-known Citroën Type G. In 1948, Citroën engineers developed a compact version of the HY: an entry-level van capable of carrying up to 500 kg of cargo. However, the project never reached production: the company instead opted to focus on
the van derived from the 2CV.

Our Type HG series is based on the Citroën Dispatch/SpaceTourer line (Stellantis Pro One K0), a medium-sized van ideal for artisans, small businesses, and professionals. The Type HG by Caselani is produced under official Citroën license.
